Statement on Orkun Kökçü from Vincenzo Italiano in Beşiktaş!

Asked whether they would go on the field with formations with Trossard at the center in the absence of Orkun Kökçü and Miretti, Italiano said, "We are talking about Trossard. He is a proven player who can read the game well and is an intelligent player. We are talking about a successful player who can play both in midfield and on the wings. We will see what solution we will find. What I am trying to do right now is how I can involve the offensive players, how I can find solutions. We were missing Miretti and Orkun. We were missing their passing quality, their passing quality, and how I can find solutions." "We know their passes and how they read the game. At the same time, we were missing shots from outside the penalty area. I think we got positive results even though they were not there. We want to give him time on the bench tomorrow. I hope the plans for tomorrow go as we want and we expect Miretti to be involved again soon."

Stating that the Super League and Europe are different, the Italian coach continued his words as follows:

"The league is different, Europe is different. We are doing well in Europe now. We only lost against Zalgiris. We won the first match of that match 3-0. We lost there. We have a different concentration, attention level and motivation in Europe. Points are important there too. We have done good things here. It is never easy. We worked hard to get to Europe. We had difficult matches. Maybe I can say that there is a different motivation here. The league is different. We will talk about the league in 2 days. Right now We are in Europe. We want to get points and get out of the group. If we want to do better, it will be a difficult match. We will play against a team with an excellent stadium and strong fans. They want to win. We need to have the same motivation tomorrow.

Italiano said that he was surprised that Celtic could not get any points yet and concluded his words as follows:

"Last season, I played against Celtic. It was a great match. We went down 2-0 and then made it 2-2. I can say that it was a perfect night. But playing here against Celtic is different. There is the home factor. This is a great stadium. The fans are really pushing too. I can say that there is a warm atmosphere. I am surprised that Celtic is at 0 points. We may see an angry Celtic. I think this will make our job difficult. They will want to win and get points. It will be a difficult match. It will be an important test for us. "I think we need to do a good job tomorrow, everyone needs to be ready. It will be very difficult for us tomorrow."
