The accident occurred yesterday in the Ballıca District of Manisa's Akhisar district, on the Izmir direction of the Istanbul - Orhangazi - Izmir highway. According to the information obtained, while the bus with plate number 16 AED 124 was reversing on the highway, the truck with plate number 78 YD 559 crashed from behind. As a result of the accident, the passenger bus overturned on its side and the truck went off the road.

Security camera footage has emerged of the moments when the tour bus, in which 11 people died when it collided with a truck in Manisa's Akhisar district, took a break in Mustafakemalpaşa district. It was seen that the bus entered a fuel station after picking up its passengers and took a short break for necessity at 08.20. After a 7-minute break, the passengers boarded the bus again and continued on its way.

The accident in which a tour bus and a truck collided, killing 11 people, was also reflected on the highway highways. In the footage, the tour bus, which had missed the intersection, made a reversing maneuver and was hit by a truck coming from behind and the vehicles overturned.

The driver of the tour bus, who was injured in the accident, completed his treatment at the private hospital in Akhisar.

The moments when Metin Yavuz, who organized the tour and was also driving the bus, entered the restaurant and chatted with the employees while waiting for the departure time were also captured on video.

The driver, who was discharged, was detained by gendarmerie teams.
