The yacht BOT project of Kaohsiung Xingda Port is gradually completed and applications for 98 boat spaces are open.

Jiatai Yacht's "Kaohsiung City Xingda Fishing Port Ship Repair and Building Area and Marine Recreation Facilities Private BOT Project" has been completed one after another. 98 ship seats are waiting for ship owners to apply. The Wanping Ship Repair and Shipyard is about to start. The traditional fishing port will become a new landmark of the international "yacht fishery".

Jiatai Yachts is a subsidiary of Jiaxin Yachts Group. Its proposed "Kaohsiung City Xingda Fishing Port Ship Repair Area and Marine Recreation Facilities Private BOT Project" will start construction in 2023. It is expected to invest 2.5 billion yuan in 50 years, covering 7.5 hectares of land and 3.5 hectares of water. The 5-hectare Xingda Port base has been built into the largest yacht repair and berthing center in Taiwan. It is equipped with a ship repair yard, a 100-seat berth, a 300-ton self-propelled gantry crane, a boat ramp and other complete facilities. It serves all kinds of domestic and foreign ships and attracts ship owners from around the world.

The 10,000-square-foot waterfront berth and the 100-seat aluminum alloy floating dock berth will provide the most comfortable yacht berthing experience. Li Boyan, deputy general manager of Jiatai Yachts, said that applications for the 98-seat boat are open, and a promotional discount plan will be launched in conjunction with the boat show. For example, if you book a table at the boat show, you can enjoy a half-price discount on the listing fee.

The new Wanping professional ship repair and shipyard can build luxury yachts up to 200 feet in length, and provides simultaneous upgrade and modification services for various types of ships. Li Boyan said that the first phase of the Zhengyuan factory has obtained factory registration, and there are operators who have rented and completed the installation of machinery and equipment, and will soon start related business; the second phase of the Zhengyang factory will be completed by the end of this year. As for the dock hall for ship owners to rest and dine, it will be opened in 2027 at the earliest.

Jiatai Yachts imported Taiwan's largest 300-ton self-propelled gantry crane from Italy, which can lift 300-ton fishing boats from the sea for maintenance. It is equipped with a boat ramp to create a flexible and fast water lifting solution. This gantry crane has been put into use in 2024 and has completed more than 200 racking operations.
