Italian high-end jewelry Buccellati continues to expand its territory in Taiwan. The new Taipei 101 boutique opened grandly yesterday (4th). Not only brand family member Filippo Buccellati, Asia Pacific CEO Dimitri Gouten personally came to Taiwan to celebrate, and also invited actress Yang Jinhua to be the unveiling guest. She chose a black leather spliced crepe dress, which was paired with the Serenissima high-end jewelry series that was first released at Paris Haute Couture Week in July this year, exuding an elegant and noble temperament.

The new 101 boutique continues Buccellati’s more than 100-year-old Italian metalworking aesthetics and cleverly integrates the profound historical heritage into the modern space. The store uses warm wooden siding with Italian plaster craftsmanship, and the classical-style flooring adds a sense of hierarchy, showing the grandeur of an Italian palace. At the same time, two Italian antique mirrors spanning the 18th and 19th centuries were specially integrated into the visual focus. The gilded wood-carved antique mirrors originating from the Emilia-Romagna region and made around the early 18th century are displayed in the sales area. , showing the gorgeous Baroque style through complex carvings; the VIP room is equipped with a 19th-century gilded wood carving mirror above the fireplace, delicate leaf patterns and hollow crown ornaments, allowing antique furniture and jewelry art to complement each other, creating an appreciation space that blends classical and modern.

With the opening of the boutique, Serenissima high-end jewelry was also unveiled. Taiwan is the first stop for the series to be exhibited in Asia. The works continue the aesthetic vocabulary of founder Mario Buccellati, who was deeply inspired by the needlepoint lace craftsmanship of Burano in Venice since he founded the brand in 1919. The sculpture techniques and metalworking art of the Renaissance are "carved" into metal. The Serenissima San Giorgio collar necklace worn by Yang Jinhua is a representative work. It uses fine hollowing technology to give the precious metal a light and flexible beauty like silk. The Serenissima gold and platinum diamond bracelets also incorporate a lace-like honeycomb hollow structure. The craftsmen need to accurately shape the thin metals with different thicknesses, and finally present a transparent and lively flowing beauty. Other works such as the Serenissima bracelet and Serenissima pendant earrings also require craftsmen to finely sculpt the metal surface with a hand-held saw and then connect each independent unit, so that the originally hard gold and platinum can appear as soft and docile as lace, demonstrating the new realm of continuous evolution of Buccellati's carving craftsmanship.
