Hundreds of fans who were still in the stadium at the time gathered in front of the stadium. A fire engine and several ambulances initially drove to the entrance with their lights flashing, but were no longer visible a few minutes later. After almost 15 minutes, the shrill alarm signal also ended. According to “Bild,” a defect in the Eintracht cabin’s sauna is said to have triggered the alarm. This has not yet been confirmed.

DFB striker Younes Ebnoutalib scored the winning goal for Eintracht in the 77th minute. Frankfurt thus managed to make amends to some extent after the 6-0 defeat against RB Leipzig on the last matchday.

Captain Robin Koch, who was publicly criticized by coach Adi Hütter after the Leipzig game, also showed an improvement in performance. »Special praise to Robin Koch. “He had a sensational grip on the team,” said Hütter about his defense chief, who led Eintracht to their first clean sheet of the Bundesliga season.
