2027-2029 Medium Term Program Evaluation from Burhanettin Duran

Burhanettin Duran made an evaluation about the Medium Term Program (MTP) for the 2027-2029 period announced by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz.

In his post on his social media account, Duran stated that the 2027-2029 MTP sets out the targets and priorities for the next three years of the Turkish economy in a clear framework.

The program was prepared with the understanding of a stable economy and prosperous future for a strong Türkiye; Pointing out that it basically aims to strengthen macroeconomic stability, ensure balancing in the economy, permanently reduce inflation and make the gains sustainable, Burhanettin Duran said:

"The program, prepared on the basis of common sense and consultation with the contributions of our public institutions, private sector and professional organizations, offers a strong road map for inclusive and sustainable growth and a permanent understanding of social welfare. In this context, with the 2027-2029 Medium Term Program, our economic predictability will be strengthened, the investment and production environment will be supported, and sustainable social welfare will be made permanent. With the determined implementation of the program, we will produce more employment at the end of the period, expand the economic scale of our country and reflect the created prosperity more strongly to the society in general." is targeted."
