Burnham answered questions from MPs in the British Parliament

Burnham answered the questions of MPs at the "Questions to the Prime Minister" session held weekly in the British Parliament.

Reacting to the main opposition Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch's proposal to reduce social benefits in order to increase military spending, Burnham said, "If that happens, you will make people homeless." he said.

Ed Davey, the leader of the Liberal Democrats, the third largest group in the parliament, mentioned in his question that the trade ban with Israeli settlements that usurped the occupied Palestinian lands, announced by the UK yesterday, should have been taken a long time ago.

Burnham thanked the parliamentary support for the decision. Noting that they took this decision to defend the two-state solution to the Israel-Palestine problem, Burnham said, "We did this to show where England stands." he said.

Pointing out the importance of the two-state solution in the region, Burnham said, "The risk of the collapse of the two-state solution is a risk that should worry us all, considering the effects it will have on the Middle East. The real risk is that the two-state solution is dying before our eyes, and this requires us to have the courage to take action in the world we live in." he said.
