Driver Caught After Driving with Alcohol Over 200 Promil and Following Police Pursuit in Bursa

The incident took place in Samanlı location of Bursa's Yıldırım district. According to the information obtained, police teams issued a 'stop' warning to the vehicle with plate number 16 APP. M.S., who did not comply with the warning. (43) started to escape with his vehicle. Police teams followed to stop the driver who was weaving through traffic.

Warning shots were fired into the air after the driver continued to escape during the pursuit of approximately 40 kilometers by police teams. However, the driver did not stop and entered the highway and continued his escape towards Mudanya.

As a result of the pursuit carried out by the teams, the vehicle was stopped on Bademli Eski Mudanya Yolu Street. During the control of the captured M.S., it was determined that he had over 200 promil alcohol.

M.S., who was caught in the Gendarmerie responsibility area, was handed over to the Bademli Gendarmerie Station Command for processing. It was learned that the driver was penalized within the scope of the relevant articles because he did not comply with the 'stop' warning and proceeded by crossing traffic.
