Femicide in Bursa: Gökçe Alkan was killed by cutting her throat

Another blood-curdling brutality has been added to the murders of women. In Bursa, 18-year-old Gökçe Alkan was killed by her boyfriend Mustafa B., whose throat was cut in the car with an argument.

In Bursa's Karacabey district, Gökçe Alkan (18) was killed by her boyfriend Mustafa B. (24), who had an argument with her, by cutting her throat in the car.

According to DHA, the incident took place around 22:00 yesterday, in the forest in Güngörmez District. Allegedly; An argument broke out between Gökçe Alkan and Mustafa B., who came to the forest by car and were allegedly lovers.

As the argument escalated, Mustafa B. cut Gökçe Alkan's throat with the knife next to him. It was stated that the suspect, who came to the neighborhood on foot after the incident, told the citizens that the person he was arguing with was dead and asked for help to go to the district center.

On the other hand, it was learned that the suspect also harmed himself with a knife and had a cut on his neck. Health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area upon notice from the neighborhood residents. Under the control of paramedics, it was determined that Gökçe Alkan died at the scene. Alkan's body was taken to the morgue of Bursa Forensic Medicine Institute for autopsy.

While the treatment of Mustafa B., who was taken into custody by the gendarmerie teams, was continuing in the hospital, an investigation was launched into the incident.
