People Power Party floor leader Jeong Jeong-sik visits the Federation of Korean Trade Unions to discuss current labor issues

People Power Party floor leader Jeong Jeong-sik visits the Federation of Korean Trade Unions (KCTU) on the 19th to discuss pending issues in the labor sector.

This morning, floor leader Jeong will hold a meeting with Kim Dong-myeong, chairman of the Federation of Korean Trade Unions, at the Federation of Korean Trade Unions in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.

At the meeting, issues such as extending the retirement age and guaranteeing basic political rights for teachers and civil servants are expected to be discussed.

The party's leadership, including floor leader Chung, senior vice leader for operations Kim Seung-soo, senior vice-president for policy Kim Mi-ae, floor spokesperson Choi Soo-jin, and floor leader Yoon Yong-geun's chief of staff, will be accompanied by Rep. Kim Hyeong-dong, a former member of the Federation of Korean Trade Unions and secretary of the Climate, Energy, Environment and Labor Committee in the National Assembly in the first half of the year.

This visit is floor leader Chung's first outside event since he took office on the 10th, excluding his attendance at a media event.

Meanwhile, the leadership of the National Assembly will visit the Seoul National Cemetery before visiting the Federation of Korean Trade Unions.
