At the opening ceremony, the China Electronic Information Industry Development Research Institute released the "New Display Industry Development Status and Prospects-2026 New Display Industry Development Report" (hereinafter referred to as the "Report").

According to the "Report", from the perspective of development and layout, the country has now formed an industrial layout in four major agglomeration areas, including Beijing, the Yangtze River Delta, the central and western regions, and the Pearl River Delta, each with its own characteristics; key cities have strengthened the construction and investment layout of new display industries, and Chengdu has actively promoted the construction of high-generation AMOLED production lines. In recent years, it has achieved leapfrog development, ranking first in the domestic echelon in terms of industrial scale, and ranking first in the completeness of the industrial ecology in the country.

The "Report" shows that from the perspective of segmented fields, TFT-LCD and AMOLED are the mainstream technologies for industrial development, and forward-looking technologies such as Micro LED, silicon-based OLED, electronic paper, and laser display are accelerating development.

The "Report" also shows that artificial intelligence is leading the global technological revolution and industrial transformation, and the global digital intelligence era is accelerating, leading the new display industry to show three major development trends: First, the accelerated integration of AI, the display screen is an indispensable interactive portal for AI, promoting the deep integration of cognitive capabilities and presentation capabilities; It is multi-dimensional technology innovation that leads the way. Application expansion, visual restoration, freedom of form and integration are important drivers of new display technology innovation. The third is green and low-carbon transformation and upgrading. Industrial production lines continue to transform to green manufacturing, green and low-carbon, and products such as electronic paper, low blue light, and low reflection continue to upgrade to green, healthy and eye-protecting products.
