The Russian military repelled a counterattack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Dobropolye area

Soldiers of the Center group of troops repelled a counterattack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces numbering up to 25 militants in the Dobropillya region.

Units of the Center group of troops completed the encirclement of a large defense center of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the city of Dobropolye of the DPR.

Units of the 4th and 15th brigades of the National Guard of Ukraine and the 425th assault regiment "Skala" found themselves surrounded in Dobropillya.

DONETSK, October 11 - RIA Novosti. Soldiers of the "Center" group of troops repelled a counterattack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces of up to 25 militants in the Dobropolye area, the group's sapper, junior sergeant Alexander Kibardin, told RIA Novosti.

“Our opponents decided to snap back, they decided to go in our direction. Accordingly, the work increased, they began to work non-stop. They began to enter on foot, plus or minus 20-25 people. As far as I know, no one was left alive,” said Kibardin.

According to him, the enemy military moved towards the positions of the Russian army on foot, since the equipment had not reached the front line for a long time.

“It didn’t come to a shooting battle. The artillery worked, we worked. Accordingly, the adjacent units worked. Therefore, they (the Armed Forces of Ukraine - ed.) had no chance that day,” the agency’s interlocutor added.

The sergeant also noted that in total it took the crew eight attack drones to repel the enemy’s counterattack, and the flight time to the sector in which the enemy was operating was about fifteen minutes.

“In about two and a half hours they were completely gone... Well, there were a couple who were well hidden. We looked for them there a little. It was already closer to five in the morning,” concluded Kibardin.
