Writer Lai Hengjia shared in the "Threads" online community that Su Qiaohui, the Democratic Progressive Party's candidate for mayor of New Taipei City, was a classmate when they attended Taipei No. 1 Girls' High School. From studying to going out into society, they became each other's most important spiritual support, including writing a recommendation foreword by themselves, holding sharing sessions as a guest speaker, and Su Qiaohui. Qiaohui immediately agreed. After being tempered by swords and guns in the political arena, she still maintains her sincerity and warmth. This is the Su Qiaohui she knows. Lai Hengjia pointed out that Qiaohui was her classmate in the third year of Peking University. The difference between their student numbers is only 2, and they are often grouped together for whatever they do, and they quickly became familiar with each other. After graduating from high school, the two were admitted to National Taiwan University together, studied abroad almost at the same time, and then entered social work, becoming each other's more important spiritual support.

She wrote that she moved to Indonesia after her marriage, but as long as she had the opportunity to return to Taiwan, Su Qiaohui would definitely overcome all difficulties and find time to get together, even if it was just for 20 minutes. Fifteen years after she moved to Indonesia, she wrote her first book, "Things You May Not Know About Indonesia." The publishing house hopes to find a peer who is willing to help her write a recommendation preface. The first thing she thought of was Su Qiaohui. The year before the book was published, Su Qiaohui had just been elected as the first legislator. "The burden of being a legislator made her extremely busy, but she agreed to my invitation without thinking."

Lai Hengjia pointed out that for the new book sharing meeting, the publishing house wanted her to find a discussant. She really had no idea, so she asked Su Qiaohui if she had anyone to recommend.
