Zhang Jun, an independent candidate for Hualien County Mayor: encountered obstacles in preparing for the campaign headquarters, accusing Fu Kunqi and his wife of creating Hualien sauce vat culture

Zhang Jun, an independent candidate for Hualien County Mayor, is expected to hold a campaign headquarters inauguration meeting on the 17th of this month. However, he encountered many obstacles during the preparation process: no one dared to rent advertising boards, supporters could only express their opinions in private, and the tour bus operators for transporting villagers also refused to accept orders due to pressure. He bluntly stated that these obstacles are far beyond imagination, and attributed the reason to Hualien's "sauce jar culture" caused by Fu Kunqi and Xu Zhenwei's 17 consecutive years in power, that is, supporters are afraid to express their opinions publicly. Zhang Jun emphasized that he would gather cross-party forces through the "Hualien Reform Governance Alliance" and reiterated that if he had the opportunity, he would still kick Fu Kunqi's desk on the spot to let the whole country understand what Fu Kunqi did in Hualien.

Shen Boyang was interviewed about the differences between ocean current and Korean wave, and responded to the controversy over the Feng pool in Beishifu

Shen Boyang, the Taipei mayoral candidate of the Democratic Progressive Party, said in an interview that his personality charm is far less than the wit and humor of Legislative Yuan Hanguo-yu, and emphasized that the ocean wave and the Korean wave are independent schools. He pointed out that the current stems from Taiwanese people's expectations for changes in governance and electoral culture, rather than personal characteristics. In response to the rumors that the North City Government plans to build a feng shui pool in the Civic Square, Shen Boyang believes that the budget should be prioritized for commuting improvements, ditch cleaning and other livelihood issues, and believes that the city's fate depends on citizens' trust in the government.
