Zlatko Dalic: The Arabian Gulf Cup final against Saudi Arabia will be a difficult challenge

Zlatko Dalic, the coach of the UAE national team, spoke to the media on Monday in a press conference preceding the “White” confrontation with the Saudi national team.

The UAE national team will meet Al-Akhdar, on the grounds of Al-Enmaa Stadium (the Radiant Jewel), next Tuesday, in the final of the Arabian Gulf Cup.

Zlatko said about the final: “Tomorrow’s match will be the easiest match, because it is the final match of this tournament, and therefore I want the players to enjoy this match, and to play in the best way possible, because it is the last match.”

The coach, who recently took over as coach of the UAE national team, added: "I hope that the fans in the stadium and behind the screens will enjoy this match. We know that we will face one of the strongest teams in this tournament, who kept a clean sheet, and has the advantage of home and away."

The 60-year-old coach explained: “It will be a difficult challenge for us, but we are ready for the challenge. We have worked on ourselves in the past days for this match.”

Zlatko Dalic continued: “Saudi Arabia has a very strong team and a strong coach, but I have confidence in the players and that they are capable of providing the best performance and winning the title.”

He added: "I thank the UAE fans for their great support, and I have always felt their love since my arrival. I have gained a lot of experience, and I will give everything I have for the national team, and I hope to begin my journey by achieving the title."
