PCO candidate for RS government fulfills agenda in Porto Alegre and proposes review of the federative pact

Candidate for the government of Rio Grande do Sul by the PCO, Cesar Pontes fulfilled campaign commitments this Thursday (24). He fulfilled his schedule in Porto Alegre.

The historian distributed campaign materials and the newspaper published by the party at Esquina Democrática, in the Historic Center of the capital of Rio Grande do Sul. He also spoke to voters about his government proposals.

Until October 2nd, candidates for the government of Rio Grande do Sul will answer questions asked directly by voters interviewed by RBS TV. There will be six themes, one each week: security, health, education, infrastructure, economy and climate disaster prevention. In total, 86 voters will have their questions answered.

Candidates will have 30 seconds to present their answers. Of the seven candidates, three will respond each day. The order of appearance takes into account the most recent electoral survey commissioned by Grupo RBS, released on the 24th.

Regarding the economy, the candidate chose the question from voter Edson Machado, from Bento Gonçalves, in Serra Gaúcha. "I would like to know from our candidates what idea they have to reduce the tax burden for small traders, like me, and medium traders, which is the big cancer, the problem of every small and medium businessman", he asks.

"The PCO proposes a review of the federative pact to provide more resources to states and municipalities, as public money is concentrated in the Union, which allocates almost half of it to banks due to public debt. Without this reform, without this review, it will be impossible to get out of this situation", stated Pontes.
