PSOL candidate for the government of RJ, William Siri, presents proposals for campaign education in São Gonçalo

The PSOL candidate for the government of RJ, William Siri, campaigned in São Gonçalo, in the Metropolitan Region of Rio, this Friday (11). Siri presented proposals for the education area.

During the agenda, Siri said that she defends the expansion of full-time education.

Siri's government plan foresees the opening of new Cieps, with priority given to the most vulnerable areas. The units would offer sporting, cultural and recreational activities. The plan also provides for four daily meals for students and a basic income for students enrolled in Cad-único, as a way to combat school dropouts.

The candidate also proposes creating film clubs and offering artistic activities outside regular class hours. Furthermore, it promises to increase the supply of places for education for young people and adults, expand libraries and install high-speed internet in schools.

"We are going to hold new competitions because we need public servants and not contractors like they are doing. Well-paid, valued public servants are our big bet, because we know that this works. We are going to revolutionize the state of Rio de Janeiro with quality education", commented Siri.
