Candidate Renan Santos from Missão campaigns in Pernambuco and heads to Ceará

Candidate Renan Santos, from Missão, traveled to Ceará and Pernambuco.

The candidate campaigned in the hills of the South Zone of Recife. He was welcomed by supporters and put stickers on cars. Afterwards, he walked around the community, talked to residents and recorded videos.

Renan Santos said that, if elected, he will upgrade favelas and create an industrialization plan for the Northeast with a focus on exports and job creation. He also spoke about the proposal to combat violence against women in the suburbs:

"67% of feminicide victims in Brazil are brown or black women, generally from peripheral neighborhoods. In these places, due to the organized crime that is present, many women do not report violence, including violence of a sexual nature that happens against them, for fear of retaliation from organized crime. I will eliminate organized crime from the favelas of humble neighborhoods."

After two days in Pernambuco, the candidate went to campaign commitments in Fortaleza.
