Candidates for the government of Sergipe participate in a debate on TV Sergipe and regret the absence of the current governor

The last one to arrive at the station, around 8:50 pm, was candidate Valmir de Francisquinho (Republicans). He spoke about what he expects from the debate:

"I think the people of Sergipe are waiting for this moment, in the final days before the 4th, the day of the election, so that we, candidates, can bring what we have in terms of proposals to improve the quality of life of the people of Sergipe. I think this moment is where the voter can make their analysis, their assessment, their reflections to decide their vote", he said.

Ricardo Marques (PL) arrived at the headquarters of TV Sergipe, around 8:05 pm, and highlighted the importance of the debate.

"This moment is very important when we candidates can present what we really want for Sergipe for the next four years and, above all, for the next twenty years, because what is at stake here is the lives of our children, our grandchildren, our families. So TV Sergipe opens up this space and we have to provide opportunities with respect for the viewer, with respect for those at home. That's why I'm here participating and congratulating TV Sergipe", he said.

Followed by the PSOL candidate, Dr. Helton, who after arriving at the broadcaster spoke about what he expects from the meeting.

"First, regret the fact that the current governor does not participate in this debate. For us, this is a fact that ends up hurting the democratic principle of precisely putting forward proposals and also putting forward what we see as problems in the current government. With data, with statistics, with proposals. But the expectation at this moment is that we will have a good debate, that the democratic principle will be maintained. We will put forward proposals and we will put forward what is best for Sergipe and people will show this", he stated.

The first to arrive at the station, at around 7:20 pm, was candidate Emanuel Cacho (PSDB). He spoke about expectations for the debate and regretted the absence of current governor Fábio Mitidieri, who is running for re-election.

"My perspective is that today's debate is a debate that brings Sergipe's problems and solutions. I want to deeply regret the absence of the candidate for governor. Unless he has already said everything he had to say, we think that marketing propaganda is important, but the presence of a human being, of the man who leads Sergipe, would be indispensable today", he said.

TV Sergipe is promoting this Tuesday (29) a debate with candidates for the government of Sergipe. The meeting will be at the broadcaster's studios, mediated by journalist and presenter Lyderwan Santos. The debate will be broadcast on television and will begin right after the soap opera "Quem Ama Cuida", at around 10:15 pm, lasting at least two hours.
