Candidates for the Government of Maranhão begin campaign agendas for 2026

Candidates for the Government of Maranhão have started their electoral campaign agendas. In total, there are eight government candidates registered to contest the 2026 election.

With the start of the election campaign, candidates can now advertise on the streets and on the internet. On TV and radio, electoral propaganda begins on August 28th.

g1 MA gathers candidate commitments reported by the parties on a daily basis. The time for sending each candidate's agenda was defined in a meeting held at Grupo Mirante with representatives of the candidates.
