Piauí government candidates participate in debate on TV Clube

Dr. Lúcia Santos (PSDB) is the last to arrive at TV Clube for a debate with candidates for the government of Piauí. She said that she has good expectations for the debate and that she is prepared to present proposals and answer questions.

"Very important, right, these debates, to show the population the proposal of those who propose to manage the State, to manage people's lives. So, this is fundamental. TV Clube is to be congratulated for this initiative and we are here, ready, to look the citizens of Piauí in the eye and respond to everything they ask me", he commented.

Candidate Rafael Fonteles (PT) was the penultimate to arrive at TV Clube. He stated that it is an important moment in the final stretch of the campaign, because there are still voters undecided about the decision they will make on October 4th.

"It's a very important debate, besides being the last, it has a very large audience, so it's an excellent opportunity for those who are undecided, the 8 to 12% who are undecided, to make their final decision. I think the debate reveals which candidates are more prepared to take care of our State and who have more sensitivity to take care of our people. So, particularly, I participated in all the debates because I see it as an excellent opportunity for the people to make this comparison between the quality of the proposals and the quality of public life for each of those who are making their name available to the State government".

Candidates from parties with a minimum representation of five parliamentarians in the National Congress were invited.

The debate will be mediated by journalist Paulo Renato Soares and will be based on:

specific themes of interest to the voter; and

themes of free choice.

Candidate Elizeu Aguiar (NOVO) was the first to arrive for the debate on TV Clube and spoke about his expectations for the meeting.

"The expectation is very high. Firstly, we are going to speak to many cities in Piauí. People who are experiencing, for example, difficulties with the lack of water. And they will have the opportunity to hear proposals. So, for us who are in a growth process, it will be an opportunity both to show our proposals, and also to try to convince the electorate who is undecided about being able to make their choice", he said.
