Candidates for the Government of Rio de Janeiro in the 2026 elections released their campaign agendas for this Sunday (16).
As of today, candidates are authorized by the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) for campaign activities, such as holding rallies, motorcades, marches, distributing graphic material and advertising on the internet.
Check out the agenda of each of the 8 candidates for this Sunday, in alphabetical order:
André Marinho (New)
At 9am, André Marinho takes part in a walk in Praça do Ó, in Barra da Tijuca, in the West Zone of Rio.
At 11am, the candidate visits a Baptist church, also in Barra da Tijuca.
At 4pm, he participates in the launch of the candidacies of Leda Alves, candidate for federal deputy, Mauro Campos, candidate for the Senate, and Yara Haquim, candidate for state deputy. The event will be at Rua Ministro Lafayette Andrada, 355, in Barra da Tijuca.
At 8pm, the candidate visits an evangelical church in Barra da Tijuca.
Anthony Garotinho (Republicans)
At 7am, Garotinho visits the Queimados fair, in Baixada Fluminense.
At 8am, take part in an agenda at the Posse fair, in Nova Iguaçu.
At 9am, visit the Mesquita fair.
At 10am, take part in an agenda at the Nilópolis fair.
At noon, the candidate takes part in a motorcade, gathering at Heliópolis Square, in Belford Roxo.
Colonel Busnello (Mission)
At 8am, Colonel Busnello takes part in a walk with candidates and supporters. The event starts from Aterro do Flamengo, in the South Zone of Rio, towards Glória.
At 12:30 pm, the candidate takes part in a rally at Rua Haddock Lobo, 239, in Tijuca, North Zone of Rio.
Cyro Garcia (PSTU)
At 10 am, Cyro Garcia takes part in a leafleting in Parque Madureira, in the North Zone of Rio. The meeting point will be at the entrance located behind Madureira Shopping.
At 2pm, he takes part in a training activity for the campaign committee of Elias José, candidate for federal deputy for the PSTU. The meeting will be at Quilombo Urbano Agbara Dudu, at Rua Sérgio de Oliveira, 4, in Osvaldo Cruz, in the North Zone.
Douglas Ruas (PL)
At 10 am, Douglas Ruas participates in the opening of Flávio Bolsonaro's (PL) campaign for the Presidency of the Republic, in Copacabana, in the South Zone of Rio.
Eduardo Paes (PSD)
At 6:30 am, Eduardo Paes participates in a thanksgiving mass at the Basilica Santuário de Nossa Senhora da Penha, at Largo da Penha, 19, in Penha, North Zone of Rio.
At 9 am, the candidate takes part in an agenda at Monte Sinai, in Xerém, Duque de Caxias, in Baixada Fluminense. The meeting point will be at Letreiro de Jesus, on Estrada Taboleiro, at Fazenda Paraíso.
Juliete Pantoja (UP)
At 9am, Juliete Pantoja takes part in a walk at the Campo Grande fair, in the West Zone of Rio.
William Siri (PSOL)
At 9 am, William Siri takes part in a walk to open the PSOL campaign at Aterro do Flamengo, in the South Zone of Rio. The concentration will be at the passage in front of Belmonte, almost on the corner of Rua Tucumã.
