Candidates register a significant increase in declared assets

The data appears on the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) website, on the DivulgaCand page, which brings together information provided by candidates from across the country. The information was consulted on Sunday (16), one day after the deadline for registering applications.

Compared to the 2024 election, in which Rodrigues was elected mayor of Chapecó, the value declared by him grew by 1495%. Two years ago, the politician reported having R$133,057.06 in assets.

The assets declared by Chiodini in 2024, when he ran for the position of mayor of Itajaí, were R$892,879.46, an increase of 2891% compared to 2026.

The biggest increase in João Rodrigues' assets compared to 2024 is in two shareholdings that were not included in 2024, both of R$ 960,030.00, described as "assignee credits" in the names of the candidate's two daughters. The remainder of the assets are described as a car pool, investment funds and bank deposits.

The biggest increase in assets declared by Chiodini occurred in investments. In the fields "applications and investments", "funds", "deposits in accounts", and "shareholdings", the candidate has assets of R$24.1 million in 2026. In 2024, between "bank deposit in current account", "corporate participation" and "shares or shares of capital", it totaled R$ 781,879.46.
