Capgemini sells its US subsidiary Government Solutions to ITC Federal

The French digital services group Capgemini is selling its subsidiary Capgemini Government Solutions, criticized at the start of the year because of a contract with the American immigration police, to the American company ITC Federal, it announced this Saturday.

Capgemini has “entered into an agreement with ITC Federal, an American provider of digital services and solutions for federal agencies responsible for homeland security and defense, with a view to the sale of Capgemini Government Solutions, its subsidiary which works with the American federal government,” the group said in a press release.

Capgemini announced at the beginning of February the sale of this subsidiary after the controversy caused by the revelation of a contract providing a tool for identifying and locating foreign people to the American immigration police, ICE.
