Truck loaded with soybeans overturns and driver dies on highway in the interior of MG

The accident happened on Monday morning (12), at km 289 of MG-188. The victim was trapped in the cabin and died at the scene, according to the Military Highway Police.

A driver died after the trailer loaded with soy overturned at MG-188, in Vazante, this Monday (12).

The Military Highway Police found the vehicles overturned on the side of the road. The driver was inside the cabin and was confirmed dead by Samu.

The accident occurred when the vehicle started to turn left and overturned to the right. Part of the soybean load was scattered on the runway.

Forensics were called and the body was sent to the IML in Paracatu. The carrier was responsible for removing the cargo and vehicles.

A driver died after the trailer he was driving, loaded with bulk soybeans, overturned this Monday morning (12), at MG-188, in Vazante, in the Northwest of Minas Gerais.

According to the Military Highway Police (PMRv), the accident occurred at km 289 of the highway. When the military arrived at the scene, they found the two vehicles in the cargo combination lying on the side of the road, to the right of the direction in which they were traveling.

The driver was inside the cabin and was pronounced dead by a team from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu).

The accident

According to PMRv, the truck was traveling along the highway when, upon starting a left turn, it overturned on the right side of the road. With the accident, part of the soybean load spread across the site.

Technical expertise was called, and the victim's body was sent to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) of Paracatu.

The company responsible for transportation was notified and was responsible for arranging the removal of the cargo and the towing service to untumble the vehicles.

The circumstances of the accident were not detailed by PMRv.

g1 asked if the Civil Police were investigating the case, but did not receive a response until the last update of this report.
