World-famous singer Celine Dion, who was treated for a long time after being diagnosed with Rigid Person Syndrome, returned to the stage with a concert in Paris after a six-year break. The artist, who sang her songs at the organization held at Plenitude Arena and attracted great attention, experienced emotional moments during the performance.

Dion, who burst into tears while performing her works "On ne change pas" and "Destin", addressed the audience and said, "I promised myself that I would not cry. It is wonderful that we are all together. Thank you very much for your support and patience."

Dion's Paris performance, which has not been able to undertake an extensive tour since 2020 due to her illness, was described as "one of the riskiest comebacks in the history of show business" by music critics. The artist, who has taken part in a limited number of special events since 2022, when he was diagnosed, last took the stage at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics.

As part of the concert series, which is planned to continue until May 29, 2027, Dion will present a total of 26 shows in the arena. It was reported that around 1 million 170 thousand tickets put on sale were sold out within hours and more than 9 million users accessed the system during the ticket purchasing process.
