CHP Denizli Provincial Chairman Ayhan Oran resigned from his post

CHP Denizli Provincial Chairman Atty. Ayhan Oran resigned from his position.

In his resignation letter dated October 5, 2026, which he sent to CHP Headquarters, Oran stated that his decision was due to the health problems he had recently experienced.

Oran stated that, in line with the evaluations and warnings of his doctors, he was informed that it was not suitable for his health to continue the intense work tempo and the process required by political activities, and stated that he took the decision to resign reluctantly and with great sadness.

“I AM NOT LEAVING MY PARTY AND THE STRUGGLE”

Emphasizing that his resignation has nothing to do with his commitment to CHP, the values of the Republic and his party's struggle, Oran said:

"I am leaving the office, but I am not leaving the Republican People's Party and this great struggle itself."

“I SEE THIS DUTY AS A GREAT RESPONSIBILITY AND TRUST”

Oran thanked the CHP administrators who deemed him worthy of the task and trusted him, and stated that he saw the provincial chairmanship not only as a position, but also as a great responsibility and an honorable trust.

Oran apologized to the party executives and companions who trusted him because he had to leave his post due to health problems, and stated that the decision was not easy for him.

“I DO NOT CARRY THE SMALLEST REGRET”

Stating that during his term of office, he tried to keep the CHP's organizational structure in Denizli together, to act in line with the values of the party and to keep the interests of the organization above personal accounts, Oran used the following statement:

“As I leave my post today, I do not carry the slightest regret.”

At the end of his statement, Oran thanked the party executives for the trust and support given to him and stated that his ties with the CHP and its organization will continue despite his resignation.
