CHP management is back in office by court decision, anniversary celebrations begin

With the decision of the 36th Civil Chamber of the Ankara Regional Court of Justice on May 21, the CHP's management, elected at its congress 6 years ago, was reinstated. The party's congresses held in 2023 and later were deemed invalid. The congress, which officially included in the party statute that the founding of the CHP was the September 4 Sivas Congress, was also invalidated by this decision. CHP will celebrate its founding anniversary today under the shadow of all these discussions.

WITH KILIÇDAROGLU PARTIES

The party's management, appointed by court decision, will first go to Anıtkabir in the morning as part of the celebration activities. Then, at 15:00, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who returned to the CHP administration by court decision, will meet with party organs, provincial heads and organizations. At 17:00, a meeting titled "103 years of heritage with our 103 young people" will be held in the museum at the headquarters. The day will end with the anniversary reception.

'THE COURT DECISION IS OUTSIDE US'

Considering that today's celebration events will be held at a time when there are people leaving the party and under the shadow of the court decision, the staff of the Butlan administration said, "The court decision is a decision made beyond us. Shame on those who brought this party to court. CHP always protects itself. Ignoring one of Ataturk's two great works is considered betrayal of the trust. We cannot betray the trust either. CHP decreases, increases, but continues on its way. Its struggle does not depend on individuals."

Reminding that people who left the CHP founded parties in the past, the staff said, "But those parties disappeared and the CHP continued on its way." Stating that Kılıçdaroğlu will make a speech showing the CHP vision today, on the anniversary of its founding, the staff said, "It will not be a speech that falls within the party. Turkey has serious problems. He will explain what solutions the CHP proposes to these problems, in the second century of the republic and when the republic is under attack. It will be a speech that includes evaluations on both a national and international scale."

CONGRESSES END OF SEPTEMBER

Staff of the Butlan administration stated that the party's congress calendar will start at the end of September. In this context, the staff states that they will receive the member lists from the Supreme Court on September 21 and say that they will be able to complete all congresses in an estimated 4-month period. Butlan management states that in this process, a decision will be made by the Supreme Court regarding the party's congress case and notes that it can announce the congress day accordingly.
