Rain and strong winds cause damage in cities in Tocantins

In Colinas do Tocantins, tents and trees fell on Wednesday (2). In Araguaína, the most intense rain occurred on Thursday night (3).

In Guaraí, the early afternoon rain also changed the residents' routine after weeks of drought and even interrupted training for the city's football team.

The weather forecast for this Friday (4) in Tocantins indicates skies with many clouds and the possibility of isolated rain showers in the morning and afternoon in most of the state, especially in the northern region, according to the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet).

In Palmas, thermometers must vary between 25 °C and 38 °C, with air humidity of up to 70%. In Araguaína, in the north of the state, the temperature should be between 23 °C and 32 °C, with relative humidity that can reach 95%.
