Renan Santos, from Missão, participates in the presidential campaign in São Paulo

Jornal Nacional showed how the campaign day of the candidates for the Presidency of the Republic went this Thursday (3). Renan Santos, from Missão, was in São Paulo.

Renan Santos participated in a meeting in the morning with international press correspondents. The candidate said that, if elected, he intends to adopt a foreign policy focused on increasing the competitiveness of Brazilian exports and that he wants to use the country's natural resources, such as rare earths, to propose international agreements:

"We have to create a competitiveness agenda that affects labor laws, the cost of energy, infrastructure, the cost of money, that makes producing here competitive. And then we equate Brazil with good global practices and Brazil starts to compete on, at least, an equal footing. And then we can bring these investments in a clear way. This will guide not only the relationship with the United States, but the relationship with the world."

The Missão candidate spent the whole day in São Paulo. In the afternoon, he gave an interview to an internet channel. Afterwards, Renan Santos went to an event with supporters in front of a private college in São Paulo.
