What happened on Pendolino from Warsaw to Wrocław? PKP Intercity extends the proceedings

On Thursday, a press conference was held at the PKP Intercity headquarters regarding the incident that occurred on October 20 on the EIP 1604/5 train on the Warszawa Wschodnia - Wrocław Główny route. Journalists were shown a film of the event there, but were forbidden to record and share it - informs the Rynek Kolejowy portal. According to his report, the recording does not show any aggressive behavior.

Let us recall that, according to witness accounts published in the media, the commercial director of PKP Intercity allegedly violated the physical integrity of the train manager while performing his official duties. He also allegedly used vulgar language against the conductor and WARS employee.

The train had to be stopped and about 400 passengers had to transfer to other trains.

PKP Intercity announced that it was extending the proceedings to clarify this incident. As it turns out, there are still no explanations provided by the key participants in this incident.

We are waiting for the train manager and the conductor to give their explanations. The manager is on sick leave. The conductor is on vacation, says PKP Intercity spokeswoman Joanna Osińska.

How long will these proceedings take? Joanna Osińska replies that the company cannot declare it because it is not known "when the manager will return from sick leave."

The PKP Intercity spokeswoman also said that no one has suffered any consequences so far.
