For twelve years, almost as long as her relationship lasted, a woman was, without her knowledge, the object of verbal violence and virtual abuse by dozens of unknown men. Men incited by her ex-boyfriend, a 55-year-old worker.

He collected on Facebook and Telegram, using false names, groups created ad hoc. The fifty-year-old, investigated by the Ivrea Prosecutor's Office for revenge porn and mistreatment, has agreed to a two-year sentence. He paid a check for 5 thousand euros to his ex "as compensation", the sentence is suspended, subject to a course for abusive men. "Today I live with another woman" he told the police. The woman had discovered it like this: "He had gone out. He had forgotten his cell phone - reports the newspaper -. I suspected that he was cheating on me and I looked at the chats. I opened one, I saw the figure of a masked man. The number was not registered. I opened the conversations. There was me naked. Dozens of intimate photos and videos of me. I had given some of them to him, at his request. But others, I didn't even know that he had taken them to me. I thought it's not possible. I called a friend. The the next day he accompanied me to the police."

Now she is thinking of leaving her country, where she fears that someone might recognize her: there are at least sixty names and surnames of identified users. The psychologists are teaching her that she shouldn't feel guilty. "It will be a long journey - explains the woman's lawyer, Silvia Bregliano - the damages suffered to date are incalculable and serious. A civil judgment will be needed to quantify everything that my client has suffered and continues to suffer".
