Protests in Rome, 20 young people taken to the police station after preventive checks

Over 50 young people identified in the central area of ​​Rome during preventive police checks. Twenty, including a minor, were found in possession of balaclavas, spray cans, masks and were accompanied to the police headquarters. Preventive detention is assessed for them.

The territorial control system in view of the demonstrations in the capital is at full capacity. The patrols of the police, the Polmetro Unit, the Digos and the patrol cars carried out checks at the Circus Maximus, in Piazza della Repubblica, in via Einaudi and via Cavour.
