Cosmi and Salernitana at the end credits, we are moving towards exemption

Serse Cosmi's experience on the Salernitana bench has come to an end. The Campania club, after the 3-0 defeat suffered last night on the Picerno pitch, has decided to relieve the Umbrian coach of his duties. There is no official announcement yet, but already in the morning the club communicated the decision to the 68-year-old who reached the Mary Rosy sports center only to collect his things. Cosmi paid for a disappointing start, characterized by 14 points in 11 games and a heavy -12 from first place in the standings.

Already last week, after the home draw against Scafatese, his position had been carefully evaluated by the club who then decided to give the coach another chance. Cosmi, after a long period of inactivity, arrived in Salerno last February 24th, taking up Giuseppe Raffaele's legacy. In Campania he ended the season in third place, reaching the playoff semi-final. This year he was reconfirmed, but after 11 rounds his adventure came to an end.
