Feminicide chronology shows what happened until 4-year-old boy found dead mother

Surveillance cameras recorded the last moments of Nayara Carolina Justino dos Santos, 38 years old, before she was found dead inside the apartment where she lived, in São Vicente (SP). The images also show her partner leaving the property in the early hours of the morning and, minutes later, her son, just four years old, leaving alone to look for help.

André Luiz Coimbra Oliveira, 33 years old, was arrested after confessing to stabbing his partner after an argument. The boy found his mother's body and led a doorman to the room where she was.

According to the police report, obtained by g1, the cameras recorded the family's arrival at the apartment on Thursday night (5). From the images and reports to the police, it is possible to reconstruct the sequence of events until the discovery of the crime, on Friday (6).

9:03 pm: couple and child arrive at the apartment

Images from the condominium's cameras show Nayara arriving at the apartment where she lived with her partner and son, at 9:03 pm on Thursday (5). According to the police report, this was the last record of the woman alive.

1:36 am: partner leaves the apartment in the early hours of the morning

At 1:36 am on Friday (6), André left the apartment for the hallway, but returned shortly afterwards. A minute later, at 1:37 am, he left the property again and entered the elevator, arriving at the ground floor at 1:38 am.

1:50 am: boy appears alone in the hallway

About 14 minutes after his mother's partner first left, the four-year-old boy opened the apartment door and went into the hallway, at 1:50 am.

At 1:51 am, he left the residence, but returned at 1:54 am. Shortly afterwards, at 1:55 am, he left the property alone again, got into the elevator and went down to the ground floor of the building.

Around 2am: child meets doorman and takes him to his mother

The boy met the building's doorman, who was on his way to another work station. According to what the employee reported to the police, the child was shirtless, wearing only shorts and his body was covered in blood.

Without saying a word, the boy gestured for the doorman to follow him. He then led the employee to the family's apartment.

In one of the rooms, the doorman found Nayara lying on a bed, covered in blood and apparently lifeless.

Doorman calls for help and death is confirmed

After finding the woman, the doorman removed the child from the room and asked the concierge to call the Military Police (PM). He also notified the condominium manager and supervisor.

The Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was called and confirmed Nayara's death at the scene.

GCM approaches suspect, who confesses to stabbing his partner

André was approached by agents from the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) at Píer do Pelé, in São Vicente. According to the guards, he was walking alone in the rain when he approached the police car and started waving, showing nervousness.

During the approach, André spontaneously stated that he had "done shit". When questioned by the agents, he confessed to having stabbed his partner after an argument and reported that her four-year-old son was in the apartment.

Knife is seized and man ends up arrested red-handed

After the approach, the guards went to the address given by André and found teams from the PM and Samu there.

The Scientific Police carried out an examination of the apartment and seized the knife used in the crime.

André was taken to the police station, where he confessed to the femicide. The police authority ordered the arrest in the act and requested the Court to convert the measure into preventive detention.
