Operation Statement from Cübbeli Ahmet to Süleymancılar

Cübbeli Ahmet announced that he supported the operation against Süleymancılar due to 'contact with foreign forces such as FETO'. He also warned that a similar situation might occur in the İsmailağa community. The operation may affect the relations of religious communities with the state in Türkiye.

Cübbeli Ahmet, in his statement on his social media account, claimed that Süleymanists were engaged in activities similar to FETO. Ahmet Mahmut Ünlü said, 'The state has to stop structures such as FETO that establish contact with external forces.'

Ünlü also warned the İsmailağa community and said, "At this rate, it is not possible for other communities not to experience the same results." Claiming that a similar situation was experienced in İsmailağa, Ünlü said, "Appointing inexperienced people to important positions such as general secretary poses a great risk for the community."

Following the operation, many people from the Süleymancılar community were arrested. The suspicion that the community was in contact with foreign powers was cited as the main reason for the operation.
