Message from President Erdoğan to the General Assembly of the International Democratic Union

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan gave a message of unity to Turks living abroad in his video message for the 9th Ordinary General Assembly of the International Democratic Union.

Erdoğan said, "The International Democratic Union assumes a very vital responsibility for the existence of the nation abroad. We are simultaneously making efforts to solve problems such as cultural racism, Islamophobia and xenophobia." he said.

Congratulating the union, which has achieved successful work in a wide geography with its corporate experience and dynamic staff, Erdogan said, "We will never leave you, our brothers and sisters living abroad, at the mercy of neither foreign xenophobic movements nor immoral types who insult our citizens by calling them 'excuse me.'" he said.
