As an influential brand event in the domestic fishing field, the Sihong International Big Round Pond Millions Fishing Competition has become Sihong’s eye-catching cultural and sports tourism business card after ten years of hard work. Sihong International Grand Round Pond can accommodate 2,500 people competing on the same pond at one time. It is known as "the place where fishermen realize their dreams" and has held 18 consecutive million-dollar fishing competitions so far. The event also effectively stimulated surrounding tourism, catering, accommodation and other service industries.

"During the National Day holiday, I can not only compete in competitions, but also travel, which is a perfect combination of hobbies and travel." said Mr. Lei, a fishing friend in Xi'an. This event has long become an annual “gathering of old friends” for fishing friends. It is a time to rush to and look forward to.

Guo Peipei, a female fisherman from Beijing, has been fishing for more than a year and has participated in dozens of events across the country. "I like to come to Sihong to compete. The ecological environment here is good, the competition venue is well organized, and I have a new experience every time I compete."

Hou Yanbo, a fishing friend from Beijing, is a true "super fan" of Dayuantang. The event has been held for ten years and he has participated in it for 10 consecutive years and has achieved good results in the competition many times. Previously, he not only came to compete on his own, but also traveled to Sihong with his parents, wife and children. During the National Day holiday this year, he specially took his sister to the stadium together.

In his speech, He Chuan, deputy secretary of the Sihong County Party Committee and county magistrate, extended a warm welcome to participating fishermen from all over the country. He said that Sihong is a lakeside city born from water, prospered by water, and beautiful due to water. Come to Sihong and enjoy the ecological benefits; taste Sihong and enjoy the taste of the water town; compete in Sihong and enjoy the charm of sports. We sincerely invite all guests and contestants to stop and visit after the event to immerse themselves in the lakes and mountains of "Shuiyun Sihong" and experience the unique warmth of the "Wetland City".
