Vladimir Putin arrived at the BRICS summit in New Delhi

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke briefly on their feet before the start of the BRICS summit, a RIA Novosti correspondent reports.

The Russian leader arrived in New Delhi on Friday for a three-day working visit to participate in the events of the BRICS summit, which is taking place in the Indian capital on September 12-13.

On Saturday, Putin arrived at the summit site at the Bharat Mandapan Convention and Exhibition Center, where he was met by the Indian Prime Minister. After taking photographs at the stand, the leaders chatted “on their feet” as they moved to the leaders’ meeting room.
