The Nagoya Asian Games eSports "Pokémon Rally" team has enlisted the help of Liu Xiang, a Taiwanese-American mixed-race player who has two world championship titles. Coach Huang Qibin believes that the team is currently in the best condition and hopes to compete for medals in this event.

"Pokémon Gathering" this time has Huang Qibin in charge of the military symbols. There are 6 players, including Liu Xiang, Qin Yongqi, Hu Xinrui, Guo Yishuo, Chen Yitian and Liu Tingyi. Among them, Liu Xiang has become the focus of the team because of his dual nationality of Taiwan and the United States and his strong strength.

Huang Qibin pointed out that Liu Xiang’s mother is Taiwanese. After learning that the Asian Games had such an event, she went back to Taiwan to apply for a passport and ID card to compete. He said with a smile: "Although he mainly communicates in English, he is very active in learning Chinese and serves as the main caller of the entire team. Our members have also improved a lot in English because of his joining."

Huang Qibin pointed out that Liu Xiang has rich experience in world competitions and more than 90% of his tactical decisions are excellent. With Hu Xinrui, a former Asian Cup champion, assisting with translation, the team's communication and understanding have gradually improved.

Analyzing the strength of the opponents this time, Huang Qibin believes that the Japanese team, which has a complete professional system, is unique in strength and is the biggest opponent for the gold medal; Indonesia is equivalent to Taiwan and is a second-tier power, but the strength of the Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong and other teams should not be underestimated.

24-year-old Hu Xinrui is a senior player on the team. He has dreamed of becoming a national e-sports player since he was a child. He has also been involved in "Pokémon Gathering" since the server was launched. Even though he once gave up due to opposition from his family, he still retains his enthusiasm when he returns to the e-sports arena and looks forward to shining on a bigger stage.

Speaking of his cooperation with Liu Xiang this time, Hu Xinrui said that even though the other person is a two-time world champion, he is still willing to share and guide. Although the two often argue because of their different ideas about the game, and even occasionally argue that "I don't want to help him translate," he has benefited a lot from the exchanges between them. "He is like a little coach, pushing me to play better."
