The Russian Ministry of Health has approved an emergency notification form for a case of infectious disease, food poisoning or animal bite.

A health worker who identifies such a case must report it to Rospotrebnadzor by phone within two hours, and then send a notice to the department in paper or electronic form within 12 hours.

The document comes into force on March 1, 2027 and will be valid until March 1, 2033.

The Russian Ministry of Health has approved an emergency notification form for a case of infectious disease, food poisoning or an animal bite; doctors will have to send this document to Rospotrebnadzor, according to the order of the ministry, which was reviewed by RIA Novosti.

A notification is generated for each case of detection of infection, food poisoning and animal bite. A health worker who identifies such a case must report it to Rospotrebnadzor by phone within two hours, and then send a notice to the department in paper or electronic form within 12 hours.

The emergency notification form will include the diagnosis, patient's name, date of birth, gender, registration information, employment information, telephone number and information about location abroad during the last month before the onset of symptoms. If food poisoning is suspected, the suspect product or dish is indicated, as well as the date and place of purchase.
