The National Development Council approved the third phase expansion plan of Longke, and Huang Shijie called on Zhang Shanzheng to propose supporting facilities as soon as possible

The National Development Council today reviewed and approved the draft "Hsinchu Science Park Longtan Park Expansion Plan" reported by the National Science and Technology Committee, and will submit it to the Executive Yuan for approval. DPP Taoyuan mayor candidate Huang Shijie said that the passage of the draft is crucial to the layout of Taiwan's semiconductor cluster, and he is happy to see its success. He called on Zhang Shanzheng to stop harvesting the central government's efforts and put forward a plan as soon as possible instead of deceiving the public with fancy rhetoric and delaying the development of Taoyuan again.

The central government has set the target timetable for the third phase of the Longke expansion project in 2030. Huang Shijie pointed out that Taoyuan has been delayed by Zhang Shanzheng for more than three years. In the past, he asked Zhang three questions about related issues: "What has been done? What are the alternatives? What are the supporting plans?" Zhang "I don't know three questions." He hopes that Zhang's city government team can really prepare for the start of the overall planning plan as Zhang said, "the city government team is deeply invested".

"The Taocheng City Government is currently facing two major projects that need to be made up, including land and resettlement compensation, and major transportation and infrastructure construction." Huang Shijie said that for the land and resettlement compensation, the central government expects to complete the environmental impact assessment and development permit by the end of 2028. The Taocheng City Government should simultaneously disclose a clear timetable for negotiated price purchase, compensation, and resident resettlement; for major transportation and infrastructure construction, facing the goal of manufacturers to build factories simultaneously in 2030, the Taocheng City Government must clearly explain which external roads will be completed by then to avoid the influx of people and the local burden caused by backward transportation.

Huang Shijie emphasized that Longke Phase III is promoted by the central and local cooperation. Since the central government has advanced the progress, the Taoyuan City Government should publish the "Longke Phase III Local Supporting Schedule" including land, transportation, water and electricity, resettlement, etc. as soon as possible to give citizens peace of mind and continue to check.
