The Kuomintang Legislative Yuan caucus held a press conference to question Democratic Progressive Party Taipei mayoral candidate Shen Boyang's equating drugs with drugs. Shen Boyang responded by emphasizing that drug risk control is his consistent policy and welcomes discussion of his academic research. He also criticized Lan Ying for slapping himself in the face, pointing out that Chiang Wanan's campaign had too many spokespersons, which led to Chiang himself responding less to questions.

The TVBS program "Hot Shop at 11 O'Clock" caused controversy by imitating Taipei mayoral candidates Shen Boyang and Jiang Wanan and using the homophonic names "Shen Neck Itch" and "Chiang Good Night". Scholar Li Zhongxian pointed out that the information technology revolution has transformed viewers from passive receivers to message senders. The distribution of power in political satire has changed, but satire should not disappear. Instead, it will become more, faster and possibly more cruel.

Wang Gengchun, the confidential secretary of former Hsinchu County Magistrate Zheng Yongjin, stood up to support Zheng Chaofang at the opening ceremony of Zheng Chaofang's campaign headquarters. He criticized Kuomintang Hsinchu County Magistrate candidate Xu Xinying's accusation that Zheng Yongjin was involved in illegal finance. He was actually criticizing her father Xu Jinglan, because the confidential secretary who held the official seal of the county magistrate was Xu Jinglan. She also called on voters to cheer for Zheng Chaofang and send him to the Hsinchu County Government on November 28.

There are more microphones. Who is funnier is no longer decided unilaterally by the TV station.

The Hsinchu District Prosecutor's Office has been investigating the case of Lin Zhijian's baseball stadium turnkey project for the past four years. On August 21 this year, it was awarded a non-prosecution sanction. After the city government requested for reconsideration, the High Prosecutor's Office rejected the reconsideration and decided not to prosecute the whole case. Qian Kangming, the former cultural director of Hsinchu City and a candidate for city council, pointed out that Gao Hongan appointed professional prosecutor Cai Liqing as the deputy mayor to investigate the case, but Cai Liqing had already stated that there was no evidence of profit. Now the High Prosecutor's Office has dismissed the case for further review, confirming that Cai Liqing's professional judgment was correct, and questioning Gao Hongan's legal proceedings.
