The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked Sevastopol, a girl died, three were injured

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked Sevastopol. This was announced by the city governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.

The shock wave from the drone explosion broke glass in a kindergarten and several apartment buildings. Two detonations were also recorded after enemy drones struck the ground - in the area of ​​​​Nikolai Muzyka and Suprun. Three Ukrainian drones were destroyed by air defense forces (ADF) and mobile fire groups.

It turned out that, in addition to explosives, the drones were filled with shrapnel. Sappers found hundreds of submunitions at the scene.

The victim of the attack was a girl born in 2011. She died from her injuries in the ambulance. Three more people were injured, one of them is in critical condition.

Attack against the backdrop of the departure of the American delegation from Kyiv

The blow to Sevastopol came as the American delegation to resolve the conflict, led by US Presidential Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and the American leader's son-in-law Jared Kushner, left Kyiv. Diplomats visited the Russian and Ukrainian capitals and met with the leaders of both countries.

After the visit, Witkoff announced that a new round of trilateral negotiations between Russia, the United States and Ukraine could be announced soon. The diplomat expressed his conviction that “all the ingredients are there” for a peaceful settlement.

Ceasefire violation

On September 5, the Ukrainian Armed Forces received an order to maintain a regime of silence on the line of combat contact until 23:59 on September 8. Kyiv announced this step in connection with the visit of Witkoff and Kushner to Moscow and Kyiv.

Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Goncharenko (listed as terrorists and extremists by Rosfinmonitoring) confirmed the three-day truce in his Telegram channel. According to the parliamentarian, a regime of silence was established on all fronts - on land, in the air and at sea.
