People Power Party floor leader Jeong Jeong-sik urges reconsideration, insisting on taking over the ‘Seongnam Gyeonggi Line’ real estate policy

On the 7th, People Power Party floor leader Jeong Jeong-sik said in relation to Hong Ji-seon, the candidate for Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport who served as head of the Gyeonggi-do Urban Housing Office during President Lee Jae-myung's Gyeonggi-do governorship, saying, "This appointment of the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport is an 'occupation of real estate policy along the Seongnam and Gyeonggi Province lines,' and we boldly urge a reconsideration."

At the Supreme Council meeting held at the National Assembly, floor leader Jeong said, "In Lee Jae-myeong's Gyeonggi provincial government, Lee Han-joo, special policy adviser, was the director of the Gyeonggi Research Institute, and candidate Hong Ji-seon was the head of the Gyeonggi Province Urban Housing Office. This special adviser was the designer of Lee Jae-myung's basic series, including basic housing, and candidate Hong was a working-level person in the basic housing policy."

He said, "If the political affairs top of Seongnam Gyeonggi Line, President Lee's closest group, is Kim Hyun-ji, the top policy advisor is Lee Han-joo," and added, "Earlier this year, special advisor Lee, who is called the President's long-time policy mentor, said of apartments in Gangnam, Seoul, 'risky assets that can plummet at any time.' This is in line with President Lee's recent theory of a sudden real estate crash."

He also pointed out, “This special adviser has shown that he owns more than 10 pieces of land and buildings, and as expected, Candidate Hong is also revealed to be the king of low-income candidates who earned 400 million won in market profit by purchasing Youngkkeul, even taking advantage of his mother-in-law’s chance,” and pointed out, “With the Lee Han-joo and Hong Ji-seon narrow-minded money line, the Lee Jae-myung administration’s real estate policy cannot receive public trust in the future.”

In addition, floor leader Jeong said about Justice Minister candidate Kim Seung-won, who was suspected of illegal solicitation for clinical trials of new drugs, saying, "Candidate Kim's problem is not whether it was a solicitation or a civil complaint. The essence of the problem is not whether it was a solicitation or a civil complaint. It is a drug that laboratory rats drank and died. The National Assembly member helped the company that covered up the side effects with just one word, 'oppa', regardless of whether it was a solicitation or a civil complaint."

He said, “The result was stock price manipulation, and all that remained was the fraud of major shareholders and the bloody tears of ants,” and urged, “I hope you give up your position as minister immediately.”
