9 FETO suspects caught off the coast of Datça were referred to the courthouse

The procedures at the police station for the 9 FETO suspects and the captain, who were caught by the Coast Guard Command teams in the area close to international waters off the coast of Datça district on a Russian-flagged boat named "Peter Pan", have been completed.

The suspects were brought to the courthouse after a health check.

On the other hand, the boat named "Peter Pan" was seized, with 40 thousand 80 euros, 200 dollars, 4 thousand 752 liras and 3 fake Belgian IDs seized.

It was learned that the detained FETO suspects were dismissed private school teachers, workers, technicians, dormitory managers and officer clerks.

It was determined by the Muğla Chief Public Prosecutor's Office that the suspects, who were prosecuted for FETO membership and whose files were at the appeal stage, were preparing to flee abroad.

Coast Guard Command teams took action after it was determined that FETO suspects were in the area close to international waters off the coast of Datça district on a Russian-flagged boat named "Peter Pan" on September 6.

On the boat, which was stopped by the teams, 9 FETO members, 2 children and the boat captain were caught. Legal proceedings were initiated against the suspects, and the two children were handed over to their family relatives.
