According to the website of the Central Meteorological Observatory, domestically, heavy rainfall occurred in Hebei, Tianjin, Sichuan, Yunnan, Guangdong and other places yesterday. It is expected that cold air will continue to affect the northern region in the next three days. There will be heavy rainfall in Shanxi, Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Sichuan and other places. The cumulative rainfall in some areas is relatively large. It is necessary to prevent local heavy rainfall and continuous rainfall from causing secondary disasters such as flash floods, geological disasters, and small and medium-sized river floods.

Heavy rainfall occurred in Hebei, Tianjin, Sichuan, Yunnan and other places

Yesterday, heavy rain or heavy rain occurred in parts of central and southern Hebei, Tianjin, southern Beijing, central Shanxi, northern Shaanxi, eastern Gansu, southern Sichuan, central and western Yunnan, coastal Guangdong, and southeastern Hainan. Hebei Local heavy rains (100-130.7 mm) occurred in Langfang, Lincang, Yunnan, and Liangshan, Sichuan; the maximum hourly rainfall in the above-mentioned areas was 30-60 mm, and local rainfall in Dongguan, Guangdong and Guangzhou was 70-89.6 mm.

Cold air affects northern regions

Affected by the cold air, at 6 o'clock today compared with 6 o'clock yesterday, Inner Mongolia, most of North China, and most of Northeast China experienced a temperature drop of 4 to 8 degrees Celsius, and the local temperature dropped by 10 to 13 degrees Celsius in central Heilongjiang and central Jilin.

There is a rainfall and cooling process in the northern region

Affected by the cold air, from September 8th to 10th, Qinghai, Gansu, Ningxia, Shaanxi, North China, Sichuan Basin and other places will experience light to moderate rain, local heavy to heavy rain, and some areas will be accompanied by thunder and lightning or short-term heavy rainfall. Convective weather; the southeastern part of Northwest China, southern North China, Huanghuai, and eastern Northeast China will have a temperature drop of 4 to 6 degrees Celsius, with a local temperature drop of 8 to 10 degrees Celsius, accompanied by winds of magnitude 4 to 5 and gusts of magnitude 6 to 7. In addition, there will be light to moderate rain or thundershowers in parts of South China, Yunnan, Tibet and other places.

It is expected that heavy rain will occur in parts of southern Shanxi, central Shaanxi, southern Ningxia, eastern Gansu, eastern Qinghai, western Sichuan Basin, and southwestern Yunnan from 08:00 on September 8 to 08:00 on September 9. Among them, there will be heavy rain (50-90 mm) in some areas of southwestern Shanxi, central Shaanxi, southern Ningxia, and western Sichuan Basin. Some of the above-mentioned areas are accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall (maximum hourly rainfall of 20 to 40 mm, and may exceed 60 mm in some places), and strong convective weather such as thunderstorms and strong winds in local areas.
