İskilipli Atıf, the director of the Teali Islamic Society, was tried, deemed guilty and punished on the grounds that he cooperated with the invaders during the National War of Independence.
During the current government period, Çorum governor, İskilip district governor, AKP Çorum Mayor, AKP MPs and Çorum Hitit University rector; They held an official commemoration ceremony at the grave of İskilipli Atıf on the anniversary of his death.
A criminal complaint was filed against the public officials at the ceremony, and even an investigation permission was not given against them. Moreover, the then governor of Çorum, who attended the ceremony, was brought to the Ministry of Internal Affairs today!
