Denza Z9S Became the World's Longest Range Electric Vehicle with a Range of 1,100 km

Changing the balance in the global electric vehicle market, BYD is launching its new model, which completely eliminates range anxiety, on the roads with its sub-brand Denza. The mid-upper class sedan model Denza Z9S, which is a new milestone in the electric car world and holds the title of the world's longest-range vehicle, is officially on sale.

Z9S, which entered the lists with a significant price advantage compared to the pre-sale period, is waiting for buyers with price tags ranging from 255,800 yuan to 325,800 yuan. Positioned as a more compact and dynamic alternative to Denza Z9, Z9S offers performance and efficiency together with single-motor and three-motor powertrain options.

SPORTY LINES AND LUXURIOUS DETAILS

Drawing attention with its sporty front face with large air intakes, aerodynamically shaped hood and innovative split headlight design, Z9S reflects its technological equipment on its exterior. While the LiDAR module integrated into the ceiling forms the basis of the vehicle's autonomous driving capabilities, the 120-litre front luggage (frunk) space increases usability.

The vehicle, which has a length of 5,090 mm, a width of 1,980 mm, a height of 1,490 mm and a wheelbase of 3,025 mm, is offered with seven different exterior color options and 19-20 inch wheel alternatives. The slim taillights and active electric spoiler at the rear complete the sporty character of the vehicle.

INTERIOR AND ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY

The cabin interior of the Denza Z9S resembles a digital command center. The 17.3-inch floating design giant central screen, 13.2-inch digital instrument panel and 50-inch head-up display (HUD) projected onto the road promise the driver a perfect technology experience. Nappa leather seats, suede ceiling lining and elegant metallic details maximize the premium feeling in the cabin.

Magnetic panel on the passenger side; It allows the integration of accessories such as a tablet, desk or extra storage box. Rear seat passengers can manage the air conditioning, entertainment system and seat settings via their special 7-inch armrest screen.

The vehicle is secured by BYD's "God's Eye 5.0" advanced driver assistance system, which includes urban and highway navigation as well as vital systems such as Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) and Emergency Steering Assist (ESA).

Built on a hybrid chassis containing 91.1 percent high-strength steel and aluminum, Z9S offers a very assertive torsional rigidity of 45,036 N·m/deg. The vehicle is produced with CTB (Cell to Body) technology, in which the battery is directly integrated into the body.

At the heart of the model lie two different power options:

Single Engine (Rear Drive): 370 kW (496 horsepower) maximum power.

Three Motors (Four Wheel Drive): 890 kW (1,194 horsepower) total system power.

Equipped with BYD's second generation Blade Battery (102,326 kWh and 122,496 kWh capacity options), the vehicle offers 780 km, 920 km and 1,100 km range options, which is the world's longest range in the industry, according to CLTC norms. The highest performance version of the vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.68 seconds.

Z9S also uses BYD's "e3" (Yi San Fang) technology platform. In this way, the rear-wheel steering system, which offers a tremendous minimum turning radius of 4.75 meters, "crab walk" for narrow spaces and the ability to turn on the spot (compass turn) features are added to the vehicle. Driving comfort is supported by the DiSus-A smart air suspension system.
