A police device is deployed in the southern area of Ávila after altercations and possible detonations

The southern area of ​​the city of Ávila has recorded several altercations between Thursday afternoon and early Friday morning, which has forced the State Security Forces and Corps to deploy a preventive surveillance device throughout the night to guarantee citizen safety.

The subdelegate of the Government in Ávila, Fernando Galeano, explained in statements sent to the media that the interventions had coordinated members of the National Police and the Local Police. Despite the seriousness of the warnings, no injuries or formal complaints have been reported by those involved.

The first event occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Agustín Rodríguez Sahagún Avenue, where the patrols intervened in a fight on public roads. The operation resulted in four people being identified and an intervention report being drawn up with no injuries.

Hours later, around 1:30 in the morning, a new alert mobilized agents to the same point after receiving warnings of possible detonations. At the scene, security forces broke up a concentration of people and located remains of shell casings, which have been seized by investigators for subsequent expert analysis.
